Texaco (Ireland) Limited changes name to Chevron (Ireland) Limited whilst products continue to be marketed under Texaco and Havoline brand names

Texaco (Ireland) Limited has announced that it is to change its name to Chevron (Ireland) Limited effective from Friday, 1 December 2006.

The move is described as a corporate name change only designed to enable Chevron to present a clear, strong and unified presence across the world.

The change of name being introduced here will not affect the business operations, culture and heritage that Texaco has enjoyed for the past 80 years in Ireland nor will it affect the company¹s unwavering commitment to its customers, partners and the community.

To that end, the company will continue to operate in Ireland through its network of Texaco-branded service stations and to promote its Texaco fuel products and Havoline lubricants brands as before.

All site materials, advertisements, brochures, and other customer-facing materials will continue to be Texaco-branded as will all tankers, fuel products, fuel cards and training materials.

Similarly, the rights, liabilities and obligations of Chevron (Ireland) Limited, formerly Texaco (Ireland) Limited, will remain as they were prior to the change of name.
